The Safety and Security of the young people visiting our centre is one of our priorities.

We are a relaxed and welcoming safe place for young people to come during the day – they don’t need papers, they don’t need to register, and they know they can be themselves here.

During the day, young people can engage with our supportive team. The most urgent or vulnerable cases receive 1:1 support from experienced social workers, who work with young people to identify their most urgent needs.

Overall, we provide young people with information and resources so they have better knowledge and understanding of the issues directly affecting their personal safety and how to seek help. This involves working with the young people to make sure they have a clear understanding of their legal situation and know how to apply for asylum, as well as the risks attributed to having no papers or being a minor. We also provide information and guidance about access to secure housing and different temporary housing solutions.
